Back Mountain Dental / James C. DeFinnis D.M.D. -gum disease
(I will never share your email or name with anyone)
I came across a site that had some excellent articles. There was one particular story that went into detail about how you can put the brakes on gum disease. There was an interesting fact they provided. They said that 80% of people have gum disease. It was stunning for me. Simply because it could well be that the data came about because of what they learned from my patients.
Here is a picture of the lovely Jennifer Love Hewitt. She is a very talented artist and decided to get her start in showbiz in LA, which she thought was a great place to make it as a singer. However, instead of music she became an actress. I, for one, think she is a good actress. However, she can still sing and has released a few albums.
She was interviewed recently and I could only smile when I read that she doesn't know how to ride a bicycle and still keeps falling off. Amazing! I have never met her, and I've never had her in my office either, but I regard her as a good-looking lady and is blessed with a wonderful smile.
Gum disease could be afflicting her as well, not that we would ever know about it.
Any dentist will tell you that if you are blessed with healthy gums they stay strong when you brush them and they don't bleed. Pink gums are good but not inflamed. Tight, firm gums are what you should be aiming for. It is my job to always watch how deep a patient's gum pockets are. These reveal over time how extensive is the infection and what should be done in the future. Pockets can be a problem because after they start to take shape, they don't get any less deep but you can stop them from deteriorating. When you experience bone loss, that is when pockets start to appear and it gets to a stage where your teeth sit on your gums without sufficient bone material on which the roots can anchor themselves and because of that most people suffer teeth loss as they get older.
I like to put my faith in things that prevent you from using my services.
If you take care of your teeth properly at home, that can be of great help when it comes to healthy teeth. And there are occasions when people would take the time to come to my clinic and I'll do some special cleanings that also helps them to fight gum disease.
You don't have to be Jennifer Love Hewitt to benefit from Wilkes-Barre gum disease treatment. You don't have to worry about a thing. For me, it is an honor to see you any time and it doesn't matter if you are not famous. As far as I am concerned, all my patients are celebrities.
