A necessary part of any stunning smile is to get all your teeth into alignment so they aren't crooked. If your teeth are presently out of alignment, then you've probably thought about braces. Wilkes-Barre dentist Fotolia_6702178_XS.jpg

When most people think of orthodontics, they immediately think of metal braces. If you're an adult, those types of braces aren't a pretty thought. If you have several more years of adolescence left, you probably don't want to face the taunts and jeers of others. However, crooked teeth must be realigned. If you think you're up for it, you can get the braces and all the jokes that come along with them or you can take advantage of the dentists who give their patients invisible braces.

Invisible braces are referred to as Invisalign braces and they are utilized in the Wilkes-Barre straighten teeth practice. Nobody can see these braces. Even when you smile. Also, anytime you want, you can take them off so you can brush your teeth or eat more easily. As opposed to silver bands that are strung around your teeth, you'll get a sequence of invisible retainers to do the job. A computer helps to make each custom aligner. You will wear an aligner that is used for 14 days to do its straightening and it is subsequently replaced by another retainer for a further two weeks and so on and so forth.

And let me not forget to tell you that they easily straighten just one tooth or your whole mouthful! You don't often see teeth that are all off in a corner by themselves. They need to be close together to maintain their alignment. When a tooth has gotten pulled out, you end up with an empty space. That is why dentists do implants and crowns and bridges. This is best so none of your other teeth will be affected. But if you leave a hole unattended in your mouth, then the adjacent teeth may have become crooked. So just those teeth can be altered with the Invisalign invisible braces.
